Silbury Hill near Avebury in Wiltshire, UK is around 4,400 year old and is the largest prehistoric mound in Europe at 30 meters high and 160 meters wide.
Mystery surrounds the purpose of the mound - nobody knows why it was built. Silbury Hill is not a burial site and there is no evidence that it was ever intended as such.
